Value Stream Mapping is a hands-on workshop that allows organizations to develop a visual image of their business processes. In this workshop, participants will use case studies to develop process maps and improvement plans. From these process maps, companies can develop improvement plans for the delivery of goods and services to customers. When applied to 'front office' processes, attendees will learn how to identify areas for process improvement that will reduce lead times, reduce the need to re-work, and improve service. Examples of front office process realizing significant customer impact include order entry, quoting, new product definition, engineering order changes, and shipping.
