| 2011 Northeast Shingo Prize Conference |
|
Wednesday and Thursday, October 5 and 6, 2011 The MASS Mutual Center, Springfield, MA The North American Shingo Prize recognizes business excellence in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It was established to create increased awareness, development, and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and techniques. The goal of the North American Shingo Prize is to make manufacturing facilities and other industries more competitive in the global marketplace, illustrating how world-class results can be achieved through the implementation of lean principles and techniques in core manufacturing and other business processes. The Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence is administered in the Northeastern region of the United States by GBMP, Inc. It is an excellent opportunity for regional manufacturers, as well as other industries. The Northeastern region is comprised of 11 states: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. This year, we resolved to rally our Northeast constituents for our 2011conference to show how and why America can regain a leadership position for productivity and quality in a global marketplace. Our theme for 2011, Made Lean in America, will highlight organizations that have emerged as market leaders through consistent use of Lean philosophy and techniques. And we'll feature enlightened leaders from government who too have learned that tax burdens on business can be eased when lean thinking is applied. From our Please view a tentative agenda for the conference, as well as a recent press release. For more information or to register for the conference, visit NE Shingo Conference. |
