Study participants were offered a free, customized benchmarking report comparing their progress to the overall results as well as to other respondents of similar revenue and number of employees. The MPI Group, an internationally respected research, strategy, and benchmarking company prepared each report. This study was the first step in a long-term effort to help Vermont's manufacturers weather today's economic challenges, improve their manufacturing competitiveness, and grow over the next decade. The study results will also help VMEC in its planning for new products and services that need to be offered to Vermont companies.
